| 三峡大学软件工程中心（SEC）成立于2004年12月。学校特邀美国信息技术专家，现任美国新泽西州政府高级信息系统架构师，赵晓勇教授出任中心主任。中心研发、教学、顾问、管理阵容包括数名本校计算机、通信、自动控制、电子电力等各个学科的专业精英，以及国内外驰名的信息技术专家和海外归来学者。 |

| 三峡大学软件工程中心设备齐全，技术领先。始建以来，已先后与数家大型中美企业和科研机构建立了合作关系，并迅速构建起自己的客户网络。中心目前成为湖北省经济委员会认定的“湖北省中小企业共性技术研发推广中心”，由国家知识产权局批准为“中国·水电知识产权信息检索中心”。已由湖北省科技厅认定为“高新技术企业”，由湖北省信息产业厅认定为“软件企业”。是美国SUN公司在鄂西唯一授权Java培训中心，湖北省软件水平考试再教育基地。 |

| The Software Engineering Center (SEC) at China Three Gorges University was established in December 2004. IT expert, current senior software architect of New Jersey State government of the United States, Alex Zhao, leads the center. Attracted to SEC, are also faculty from other departments of the university in the areas of computer and information science, communication, automation and electrical engineering; faculty and well-known IT specialists and researchers from other Chinese and overseas universities and research institutions. These talents have added to SEC great assets in its R&D, teaching, consulting, and management. |
